First Interior Art: THE BROKEN EMPIRE by Mark Lawrence

Jorg & the Angel by Jason Chan Last year, author Mark Lawrence and I began talking about a special limited edition of The Broken Empire, one that would be a hardcover and collect those three fantastic books. This year, that book will be published! In Spring 2016! Artist Jason Chan, who has created most of the cover art for Mark's series, became involved early. I wanted new artwork that would compliment that grim and dark setting and characters of the story. He jumped at the chance. I know Mark's fans were happy when we took that direction. The result so far? We've received four pieces of interior artwork and they are gorgeous. I've decided to showcase one of them above—Jorg during his near-death experience! What's going on with the book? Here are some details: LIMITED EDITION: $100 The lettered edition sold out in nine minutes. Nine. Minutes! Mark and I were both stunned by that.
